This Bechstein 9 upright piano designed and manufactured in the arts and crafts period is a truly unique piano. Designed by the renowned English designer and architect Walter Cave who was active in the late 19th to early 20th century, the piano comes complete with its original features and embellishments.

The Model 9 Upright Piano by Bechstein will satisfy the most discerning of pianists, it is powerful, yet can be played delicately, the touch is responsive, accurate, and immediate. The tonal registers are distinct and sublime, the bass is deep and resonant, the middle meets this with clarity and durability, and the trebel tops this off with distinction and resiliance.

The piano is finished in mahogany and is complete with all original cabinet features including candelabra, music rest and cabinet mouldings.
