Congratulations are in order for Fiona's wonderful performance of Romanze Op.118 No.5 by Johannes Brahms! Fiona was recorded here at Shackleford Pianos by the BBC, playing on a phenomenal Steingraeber & Söhne A-170 grand piano with a sound of pure majesty and beautiful resonance.
The BBC was recording the performance for a radio show called "Last Man Standing" on Radio 4 on Archive on 4 and is coming out on the 1st July at 8pm.
The show is about Paul Farley - a man who finds himself to be the last man on Earth, with everyone else disappearing without any explanation. In order to keep track of time, he creates an audio journal that explores literature featuring the idea of characters in a similar predicament.
