Matthew Horrocks - Piano Restoration

 

Matthew was born in Stockport and became part of the Shackleford Pianos team in April 2021 as an apprentice piano restorer and polisher. With previous experience working in a kitchen, Matthew is used to busy environments and high stakes, adopting many useful skills from his job as a chef which are equally as useful in the world of pianos.

 

Matthew's role includes restoring, polishing and repairing piano cabinets. His favourite part of the job is seeing the finished product and bathing in the beauty of a restored cabinet after his hard work.

 

His hobbies include PC gaming.
