Challen were an English piano maker that made pianos to a very high standard. Little more mass produced than makers like Chappell, Challen pianos were manufactured in much the same way Yamaha pianos are made today. The pianos were designed and produced to meet high musical standards and the pianos produce a lovely tone with good playability.
This piano has been reconditioned using authentic parts and materials to give the piano the character and ambience of a piano made in the golden period of piano making. We are confident in giving this piano a full 5 year warranty.
This Challen is finished in mahogany with a three panelled front and is a lovely piece of furniture as well as a fine musical instrument.
