Kimball were known as the Steinway of the mid west, (Made in Chicago USA). They produced grand pianos of very high quality, pianos that are renowned for the quality of sound, volume production, and high levels of performance. Kimball also had very close ties with Bosendorfer pianos, who were a division of Kimball International between 1966 and 1996. Many designs, construction methods and materials were shared between the two companies during this period.
This is a B Model Kimball, it is large in size at 2 m (6'7") in length, it produces a very big, professional sized sound making this piano an ideal candidate for a performance space or large practice room. It is finished in easy to maintain high gloss black. The action is very responsive, being made of the finest in parts and materials.
