This is a special design Ernst Kaps grand piano made in small numbers and dedicated to Italian composer Pietro Mascagni.
This is a rare opportunity to purchase a piano of pure class. This piano can be purchased unrestored at a very good price of £2000 - however this is in the state it is now in - needing full restoration. Alternatively, you can ask us to restore this piano to a level of restoration for you. Due to the fact that this piano is unrestored, it is going to need a level of work to present it in tune and to achieve a level of high playability. The cabinet is badly faded in its original ebonised finish. This can be re polished to any finish you wish, antique ebonised, re-venered or modern high gloss. We have priced the piano here fully restored for £9995.
This Kaps grand piano is a beautifully made Ernst Kaps piano in a ebonised finish with a fine selection of materials for the soundboard - always an indicator of a piano maker who knows what they are doing. The frame is well cast, and all the piano componetry is of a very high standard, resulting in a piano that when restored will be a fine example of the pinnacle if piano making.
The piano is built by artisans using the finest of parts, materials and expertise, resulting in an extremely well made piano.
