Haessler piano are designed and made by Bluthner in Leipzig Germany. They are made to the highest of standards using traditional piano construction methods and the finest materials, all in the same way as the Bluthner piano models, which will lead you to question why are Bluthner making pianos under a different name? Haessler is the Bluthner family name (mother's maiden name is Bluthner), so Haessler has been chosen as the name in an opportunioty to make an alternate line of pianos. This alternate line is every bit as good as the Bluthner line, but the Haessler line have been designed to be different from the Bluthner line. The best way to compare the two is to use the analogy of red and white wine. Imagine Bluthner to be the finest red wine, with deep robust flavours, exceptional on the palate, in fact exceptional in every way. Haessler are different in the way a good white wine can be compared to a good red wine, so much like a very nice full bodied Chardonnay, still full bodied, flavoursome and exceptional in every way.. but different. Bluthner chose not to re design or change their traditional Bluthner line (why change a perfect product?) and have introduced new ideas in the implementation of the Haessler line of pianos. The Haessler line is there to be embraced as one of the finest makes of pianos available in the world today. A true item of beauty in performance, sound and appearance, an item to be loved by all who behold it. Recommended retail of the Haessler H175 in polished walnut is over £35,000 so here is a true opportunity to own a very special item for a fraction of the full retail price. Even if your piano is not used it will go out of tune. Make sure you have your piano tuned every six months.
Avoid humidity. The best humidity level to keep a piano at is around 60%
Avoid placing your piano near a radiator or against an outside wall, near open fireplaces or log burners.
Avoid water damage. Keep vases, pot plants, cups of tea etc away from the piano.
When you clean your piano use a micro fibre cloth. Do not use furniture polish.
The best temperature to keep your piano at is between 21 - 24c The worst thing you can expose a piano to is extremes of heat and humidity. For example, if you go away for a few days and let your house freeze, then come home and put your heating on high, expect piano problems. Instead, slowly introduce heat into the room.
